Jim Kenney is Senior Vice President of Suntide’s Southwest Florida division where he has leveraged his extensive commercial real estate expertise to launch and serve as a principal. Jim is eager to bring Suntide’s wealth of expertise in the industry to Southwest Florida’s rapidly growing commercial real estate market.

Jim brings a deep understanding of the commercial real estate industry gained from his professional roles and his experience as a broker for over 30 years as well as owning and managing his own portfolio of multifamily and commercial buildings. This dual perspective ensures strategic solutions that align with his clients’ needs, even in the most complex transactions. These intricate deals have provided Jim with a unique ability to foresee challenges, navigate obstacles, and deliver outcomes that benefit all parties involved. 

Jim is excited about being in Naples for both personal and professional reasons. He sees Southwest Florida as a dynamic and growing market with abundant future opportunities, making it the ideal location to expand Suntide’s reach and connect with a thriving community.

Previously, Jim specialized in the urban areas and Central Business District of Minneapolis, focusing primarily on the office leasing market. Over his distinguished 30 year career, he has demonstrated expertise in office project leasing, subleasing, tenant representation, building sales/dispositions, and investment sales. His ability to navigate intricate deals and deliver optimal real estate solutions has resulted in the successful completion of 658 transactions, totaling 11.4 million square feet across downtown Minneapolis and suburban submarkets.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, Jim is an avid pickleball player and enjoys boating and fishing, as well as spending quality time with his wife, taking long walks on the beach. Jim is also a proud father of two college students, and his personal interests complement his professional dedication, allowing him to form meaningful connections within his new community.
