Derrick began his career in 2003 as a property manager where he was responsible for managing several office, retail and industrial properties throughout the metro area. While gaining knowledge as a property manager, Derrick transitioned his skills into commercial sales and leasing.

As a leasing agent, Derrick specializes in growth retail, single and multi-tenant, including strip centers, lifestyle, and community centers. He provides clients with valuable insight as an investor, developer and leasing agent on ground-up construction projects. His expertise extends into the sale and leasing of office, industrial, and mixed-use properties and he is currently an active partner in two retail/office buildings in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.

Derrick has a degree in Community Development from St. Cloud State University. His knowledge as a property manager, leasing agent and landlord gives him a unique skillset that is valuable to landlords and tenants alike.
