Denise Currie, CCIM, of Suntide Commercial Realty, Inc. along with leasing agents Jeff Hart and Kevin Peck of KW Commercial Midwest recently executed a 56,000+ square foot lease at the Case Building in the Midway area of St. Paul for Kimley-Horn.
Kimley-Horn is a 3,000-person firm with more than 80 offices nationwide. Ranked among the top 25 engineering-design firms in the nation by Engineering News-Record, the firm also recently celebrated its 11th appearance on FORTUNE Magazine's list of 100 Best Companies to Work For. Kimley-Horn provides planning and design consulting services related to land development, urban planning, landscape architecture, transit, aviation, structures, multi-modal transportation, water resources, and the environment. The Case Building is a 174,000 SF warehouse built as a tractor parts distribution center by the Case Corp in 1948. Suntide Commercial Realty began re-development in February of this year with a completion date set for September 2018.
Located in the midway corridor of St. Paul, the Case Building is centrally located at the junction of I-94 and Highway 280. The Green Line and several MTC bus routes are steps away. The warehouse redesign will boast 15’ ceiling open to the deck, exposed spiral duct work, glass garage door fronts on several suites and an expansive central corridor providing a “Street Scape” with large skylights, private conference rooms and large open collaborative areas for group gatherings.
“The Case Building is a very impressive redevelopment with its location in the Midway, access to all transit and a variety of space options. The outstanding large windows and skylights will provide unparalleled natural light into the building”, Jeff Hart stated.
High-efficiency zoned HVAC, linear direct /indirect LED lighting and an ERV system will be implemented reducing tenant utility costs and carbon footprint. The Case Building has raised the bar for Suntide’s dedication to incorporating energy efficiencies and keeping green at the forefront with each building they manage.
